So, who is this Quentin Ulrich everybody has been talking about?

Master Chef Quentin Ulrich began his career in the culinary industry in 1968 in his hometown of Munich, Germany as a dishwasher in a small German restaurant. He immediately noticed how intrigued he was by the art of food preparation and began experimenting at home.

He scored his first break as an assistant chef in a larger, busier restaurant in the core of Munich. He worked his way up the scale and since the early 90s, he's been one of the most sought-after chefs in Europe and North America.

He has cooked for countless celebrities and 5-star hotels. "I don't want to name names." Quentin says, "but my biggest client has won several grammys as a country music singer."

What is he doing these days?

These days, Quentin Ulrich occupies his time by entertaining for private parties and upscale corporate gigs. He has also recent released his first DVD recipe book, "Secret Recipes", which he spent 15 months perfecting. "The cookbook took an extraordinary amount of time to perfect, because there was a lot of trial and error. I wanted to make sure each recipe was exactly perfect. Instructions are precise, there's no guesswork involved."
